3 GLASGOW Women’s Library – that wonderful purveyor of all things fabulous (tea, cake, feminism and books) – has been no slouch in producing quality interesting online content and this week is no different, with the launch online of: Ways of Seeing: Shutter Speed Talks. How have women photographers in Scotland taken control of their own image? The Ways of Seeing online symposium will reveal neglected stories of Scottish women in photography, including feminist social documentary photographer Franki Raffles, folklorist Margaret Fay Shaw and more. 5 JOHN Byrne at 80 is a retrospective exhibition of his works in print by the revered Scottish playwright, writer and artist, who turned 80 earlier this year. The works have all been produced at Glasgow Print Studio since the early 1990s and includes a selection of new and exclusive hand-coloured screenprints created there this year (some of which were completed during lockdown).
