TOWIE comeback queen Amy Childs has revealed her secret six-year feud with co-star Bobby Norris.
The two Essex favourites hadn’t spoken to each other since 2014 until producers instigated an ‘awkward’ show-down when Amy returned to the ITVBe series.
The aggy confrontation plays out in the first episode of the new series, which starts tonight at 9pm on ITVBe.
The former friends fell out after Amy’s cousin Harry Derbridge cheated on a devastated Bobby.
Chatting exclusively to The Sun Online, Amy said: “Bobby and I fell out and haven’t really spoken for years.
“He was dating my cousin Harry and things just got really nasty when they broke up.
“Bobby said some bitchy things and I said some bitchy things and it was just one of those fallouts where we didn’t really speak after that.
“It was such a long time ago but I knew it was still going to be awkward between us because I was coming back to the show.”
A heartbroken Bobby dumped Harry on screen back in 2014 after finding out he had been cheated on.
The couple had been dating for six months but split in a dramatic Marbella special when Harry admitted he’d slept with an ex.
Protective Amy ended up defending her cousin, which resulted in a war of words between her and Bobby.
She said: “The first thing I wanted to do when I got back was try clear the air.
“I wasn’t sure how Bobby was going to react. I was a bit nervous. I didn’t think it would kick-off but I was nervous because I didn’t know how Bobby would react.”
And according to Towie co-star Olivia Attwood it isn’t just Bobby’s nose which has been put out of joint by Amy’s big TV comeback.
Liv added: “I can imagine for some of the other OG’s it must be quite strange having Amy back full time.
“I think you get used to your own patch and it would be weird if other people came back.
“I’ve only been on the show a year and if some of the cast came back who has left since I joined I would think, ‘Go away you left already.'”
Sources claim current Queen Bee Chloe Sims is another of the established cast members who isn’t thrilled to have Amy back.
But fan favourite Chloe denied any rivalry.
She said: “I think Amy is a great addition to the show.
“She was on the first series so I think it’s a positive thing for the show.
“I am not threatened. I would love a lot of the older cast members to come back.
“To be honest I prefer them a lot more to most of the cast we have now.”
Amy also played down any rift adding: “Chloe has been in the show from nearly the beginning.
“Her very first scene was with me so it was nice to film with her again. There is no rivalry.”
