Scots Comedian Dee Maxwell has hilariously summed up the confusion around the recent restrictions with a new clip.
The video, which Dee posted on her Facebook page, shows the mother of three jokingly pretending to keep up with the First Minister’s announcement about the restrictions.
But she quickly becomes confused due to all the conflicting details.
Jokingly entitled “Every House in Scotland The Night”, the clip sees Dee asking someone to rewind the announcement several times and trying to work out all the details on a piece of paper.
She then jokes that the pubs are shut in the “most alky areas of Scotland” before realising that means the First Minister’s insinuating that she is an alky.
Saltcoats-based Dee explained that the idea came to her while she was picking her kids up from school when she heard some of the other parents discussing the latest rounds of restrictions.
The up and coming comedian, who regularly posts her comedy online, said: “The announcement happened just before the pick-up and all you could hear was Nicola Sturgeon’s voice in the playground as people watched it.
“And you could see the all them asking each other ‘what the f*** did she just say there?'”
To add to the confusion Dee joked that she didn’t even know whether she’d be expected to work at her own hospitality job or not.
She said: “So, I grabbed a pen and old envelope and my phone and filmed a quick sketch in the toilet.”
The clip quickly went viral with thousands of likes and people posting to thank her for making them laugh.
