Prince Harry is said to have opened up over the changes he has witnessed and voiced his incredulity at the turn his life has taken in recent months. A well-placed source claimed the Duke of Sussex described the changes he has recently gone through by saying his life was “turned upside down”.
The source told the Daily Telegraph: “He has been telling friends that he still can’t believe this has happened.
“He can’t believe his life has been turned upside down.”
Prince Harry also misses his life in the Army and the brotherhood that came with it, the source added.
They continued: “Harry has told friends he is really missing the Army as well his military appointments.

The source added Prince Harry “doesn’t blame Meghan” for the recent changes in their lives.
They added: “There is just a sense that he might have been better protected if he was still in the Army.”
Prince Harry left the Army in 2015 to become a full-time working royal.
DON’T MISS
During his 10 years of service, the prince was deployed twice in Afghanistan.
Harry himself admitted it was difficult to decide to leave the Army, but necessary as it was becoming impossible to carry out royal duties while remaining a member of the Army.
He said at the time: “It is a crossroads.
“I’m in the same position now as most people in my year group or my rank would be in, and most of the guys I joined with have left for numerous reasons.
“It is the case that if we move on then more responsibilities come, and I suppose with wanting to take on slightly more of this royal role I don’t really feel as though I would be in the right position to take on the careers of more soldiers and to take on the responsibility to fly, for instance.
“So it is a balance, and I’ve been trying to get the balance right over the past six months to a year before I finished and it was getting hard.”
The Duke of Sussex often recalled his experience in the Army as a period during which he was simply “Captain Wales” rather than a member of the Royal Family.
Meghan and Harry announced their intention to step back as senior royals in January and voiced their desire to play a part-time role in the Royal Family, which would have seen them carrying out royal duties while also pursuing their own private projects.
The couple later agreed on giving up the use of their full titles and renounced carrying out royal duties.
Following the deal struck with Buckingham Palace, Prince Harry will retain his honorary military titles for the time being, but he won’t be able to act on them.
In a strongly-worded statement published in February on the SussexRoyal.com website, Meghan and Harry said this changes would not modify their support to the military community.
The statement read: “While per the agreement, The Duke will not perform any official duties associated with these roles, given his dedication to the military community and ten years of service he will of course continue his unwavering support to the military community in a non-official capacity.
“As founder of the Invictus Games, The Duke will proudly continue supporting the military community around the world through the Invictus Games Foundation and The Endeavour Fund.”
