Sky Bet Championship football returns this weekend as Norwich City travel to South Wales to take on Cardiff City at 3pm on Saturday.
Our Match Preview looks at the Bluebirds’ season so far, the officials in charge of Saturday’s game and how you can follow the action live.
The opposition
Last time we met, goals from Emi Buendia and Todd Cantwell secured a professional 2-0 win at Carrow Road less than a month ago.
Since then, Neil Harris’ side have suffered three defeats in all competitions, losing 3-2 to Brentford and 2-1 to Wycombe Wanderers in the league.
Most recently, Cardiff were knocked out of the FA Cup in a 1-0 defeat away to Nottingham Forest.
Ahead of the weekend, they sit 15th in the league with eight wins, five draws and nine defeats giving them a total of 29 points from 22 games.
Head-to-head
In the 57 meetings between Norwich and Cardiff since 1931, there have been 32 Norwich wins, 16 Cardiff wins and nine draws.
Our previous trip to the Cardiff City Stadium came in the Carabao Cup in 2018, when a brace from Dennis Srbeny and Max Aarons’ first goal for the club gave us a 3-1 win in the second round.
Ref watch
Tony Harrington has been appointed to take charge of Saturday’s match, Daniel Leach and Shaun Hudson his assistants with John Busby the fourth official.
Harrington’s most recent Norwich game was our 1-0 win at Middlesbrough in November, when Teemu Pukki scored a 72nd minute penalty.
