MASKED Singer judge Rita Ora is risking a few more shocks — by splashing out on a haunted house for £7.5million.
It is not clear whether Rita, 30, was warned about the spooky history of the 140-year-old mansion.
The seller had previously said: “People definitely believe they hear strange things here at night.”
The news may add to the singer’s woes after it was revealed this week she had split from French film director Romain Gavras after six months, blaming lockdown.
She was also branded a Covidiot when she was caught breaching the rules by holding a birthday bash at a West London restaurant in November.
Rita bought the six-bedroom pad in London last week — before she attracted yet more lockdown criticism by jetting to Australia to film its version of The Voice.
The property is in an exclusive area where neighbours include Kate Moss and Jude Law.
Her current home, a £3million penthouse in West London, is on the market and she is set to make a £500,000 profit on the property.
Her new mansion was owned more than a century ago by a celebrated illustrator of the Grimm fairy tales.
He was said to have hung his fairy models from the exposed beams.
Rita now has plenty of room to throw parties when allowed.
She issued an apology for breaking lockdown rules with her birthday bash and volunteered to pay any fine — totalling as much as £10,000.
But she is now single again after she and Romain found it difficult to see each other because of lockdown restrictions.
And she will now be Down Under for several months.
She was marched to a 14-day quarantine by armed police after landing in Australia.
The star was not among a small number of A-listers allowed to avoid the tough isolation rules, thought to include Tom Hanks.
Instead, Rita was escorted from Sydney Airport to a waiting minibus. She was then driven to a nearby hotel and shut in her room.
A source said this week: “Rita travelled first class, with all the trimmings of private lounges and VIP suites. But there was nothing she could do to avoid having to properly quarantine.”
