The Duchess of Cambridge stepped out looking very autumnal in an on-trend checked coat on Tuesday (6 October) afternoon, as she paid a visit to the University of Derby.
Kate spoke with students during her latest appearance to find out more about how the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic has impacted their university learning, and to discover more about the measures that have been put in place to help protect their mental health.
The Duchess arrived looking chic and cosy in her beige gingham print wool coat, which she wore over a timeless, slim-fit cashmere jumper in pale blue.
Although the brand couldn’t confirm, it looks very much as if Kate is wearing Massimo Dutti’s Handcrafted Checked Wool Coat, over its 100% Cashmere Crew Neck Sweater in Aquamarine and, luckily for us, both pieces are still in stock online!
Kate completed her look with high-waisted black trousers, simple black pumps, and elegant jewellery, including a three-disc necklace that she was previously pictured wearing last month.
The Duchess also followed government guidelines by arriving wearing a floral face mask for the visit.
The royal’s appearance comes ahead of World Mental Health Day on 10 October, and saw her learn more about Student Space, a 24/7 text support service for university students.
