A wonderful group of teenage girls will march the streets of Plymouth to raise awareness for the mental health of their fellow young people.
The idea came from 18-year-old Fay Pearson and in the process, these amazing teens have smashed their fundraising target
Between them, separately, the 26 girls will take on a mile stretch each due to social distancing.
In total, a marathon will be covered. All donations will go towards YoungMinds, a charity supporting the same cause as those putting the leg work in.
Fay said: “We are 26 girls who all know each other through schools and growing up with one another.
“Our year at school was always very close and due to that, we all became close friends and will always have each other’s backs.
“I came up with the idea in order to not just raise money, but awareness for a charity that helps young people who are suffering from mental health.
