Southport skate park is a beloved location for many skaters.
Sefton Council has said that rumours of Southport Skate Park being closed are untrue as it plans to replace all the existing ramps. This comes after a Southport resident set up a petition calling for the council to invest in the park which has attracted more than 1,100 signatures in support. Read more about the Skate park here.
Plans submitted to Sefton Council have indicated that an empty church could be resurrected as a home for offices and a recording studio. It’s said the that transformation of the former Methodist Church on Rufford Road in Southport, Merseyside would bring in job opportunities for the town. Read more.
