IAN Blackford has refused to rule out police being handed information on people who should be self-isolating to check they are complying.
The SNP’s Westminster chief said it was “far better to use the carrot than it is to use the stick”.

But he warned extra powers could be given to cops if deemed necessary.
It comes after it emerged people told to quarantine through England’s Test and Trace system could have their details shared with officers on a “case by case” basis.
Asked if the same could be done in Scotland, Mr Blackford told the BBC’s Gordon Brewer: “If additional powers are required of course we will consider those.”
