There is plenty of uncertainty around future travel restrictions in Wales and beyond for those who are planning a holiday this summer.
Staycations are likely to be a popular choice with holiday makers as foreign travel will be restricted for the foreseeable future and that means holiday cottages in beauty spots across Wales will be in high demand.
Holiday companies have issued advice for those who want to book a holiday for later in the year with the hope that restrictions will be lifted.
Sykes Cottages is selling half term holidays in May from £321. It is also selling summer breaks from £188 and has 10% off some properties on the special offer pages.
Among the Welsh cottages on its books are Blaenffynnon Bach in Pembrokeshire, main image, Murmur y Mor in Snowdonia and Steps Away on Anglesey.
However, before you book you will need to be aware of the travel restrictions in place in Wales.
Sykes says: “If you live in Wales or your booking is for a property in Wales, before 20th February 2021 you may not be able to travel due to the national lockdown.”
