Before her tragic passing, Ana – a wife and mum- worked as a staff nurse at Stobhill Hospital in Springburn.
She was moved to the Glasgow Royal Infirmary to help out with the staffing problems during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Ana lost her short battle with the deadly virus on Tuesday earlier this week.
She suffered from multiple organ failure and after contracting coronavirus.
Her husband, Jorge, paid a touching tribute to Ana Lisa on Facebook – with further heartfelt comments flooding in.
He wrote: “I love you so so much Agum…. no more pain, no more worries and most of all your free…. ’till we meet again…agum.”
One of his friends commented: “Our condolences Bro Jorge. May Sis Annalisa rest in peace. Keep the faith.”
Another added: “Our deepest sympathy and Prayers po.”
And a third said: “Condolence Ajong, may she Rest in Peace.”
Now, an online fundraiser has been launched since her death to help her family with funeral costs.
It reads: “She is one of the fallen heroes, a staff nurse at Stobhill Hospital, but instructed to move to Glasgow Royal Infirmary to help out the staffing crisis.
“She was tested Covid positive. Sadly, she lost her battle due to multiple organ failure on Tuesday, December 15.
“Unfortunately, Ana Lisa was the first Zamboangueña who perished in Scotland due to Covid-19, while trying to save other people’s lives.
“I am so sad that this has happened during this time of the year and while the vaccine has being rolled out.
