AN Edinburgh operating theatre nurse broke quarantine rules in order to return to work days after a holiday to Bulgaria, it had emerged.
The Scots nurse returned from a trip in Bulgaria on Saturday, August 29 and was due for her shift in the private Spire Murrayfield hospital on Monday, August 31.

Bulgaria has a population of around seven million and is seeing around 100 cases of the deadly coronavirus on average per day.
Overall, it has seen around 16,500 cases and 642 deaths from the Covid-19, according to data available.
The European country has been on the mandatory quarantine list since July.
And According to a report from Edinburgh Evening News, the private nurse ignored the strict self-isolation regulations in place upon her return to Scotland.
