Scotland’s route out of lockdown is expected to be outlined tomorrow.
Nicola Sturgeon hopes to set out when and how the country will begin to lift restrictions, priority areas and what a return to geographic levels might look like.
The First Minister is scheduled to make a statement to the Scottish Parliament in the afternoon.
She also promised to work with other political parties, business leaders, unions and charities to decide how we might gradually emerge from lockdown.
Ms Sturgeon has also cautioned that she is not committed to specific dates, but instead will be guided by data.
In a statement last week, she said: “It will aim to set out how we will use and balance all the tools at our disposal – restrictions and advice, vaccination, test and protect, and travel restrictions – to restore, on a phased basis, greater normality to our everyday lives.”
The move comes as phase one of Scotland’s back to school plan gets underway…
