A BBC documentary has revealed that Aimee Monroe, a singer from Dublin can no longer work in the music industry after experiencing sexual harassment.
Aimee had dreams of going solo back in 2017, but they quickly turned into a nightmare as she told BBC that she was sexually assaulted by a music producer, who she described as “demonic”, and according to the documentary, he is still working with major artists today.
She spoke on the program which investigated how allegations of assault and abuse against women are dealt with in the music industry.

Aimee was in a band called Hello Monroe prior to the attack, and she spoke of her love of that experience.
