Two grant schemes have been launched in a bid to help rejuvenate the economic fortunes of Annan.
Dumfries and Galloway Council has opened up a £50,000 building facelift programme fund to encourage improvements to commercial premises.
And a £75,000 small business grant scheme is being financed from the Magnox Socio Economic Fund.
Those applying for cash from both revenue sources have to put up 50 per cent of the cost of any project which means the town could benefit from a total investment of up to £250,000.
Councillor Sean Marshall, chairman of the Annan Regeneration Steering Group, has welcomed the launch of both grant schemes.
