Adele is set to present Saturday Night Live alongside musical guest H.E.R, as she took to social media to confirm the news.
US TV show Saturday Night Live also took to Twitter to reveal the British vocal powerhouse will be on the next show.
Adele posted the same snap and captioned it: “Bloooooody hellllll I’m so excited about this!! And also absolutely terrified! My first ever hosting gig and for SNL of all things!!!!
“I’ve always wanted to do it as a stand alone moment, so that I could roll up my sleeves and fully throw myself into it, but the time has never been right.
“But if there was ever a time for any of us to jump head first into the deep end with our eyes closed and hope for the best it’s 2020 right?
“It’ll be almost 12 years to the day that I first appeared on the show, during an election…which went on to break my career in America, so it feels full circle and I just couldn’t possibly say no! “

She signed off the post: “I am besides myself that H.E.R will be the musical guest!! I love her SO much I can’t wait to melt into a flaming hot mess when she performs, then confuse myself while I laugh my arse off in between it all.”
Speaking in June this year, Adele’s manager Jonathan Dickins admitted plans for the release of her next record was up in the air due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic.
He told MusicWeek: “It isn’t coming in September, it’ll be ready when it’s ready.

“We’re all in the same boat, you’re doing stuff and then all of a sudden, the world stops. It’ll come when it’s ready. I can’t put a date on that yet. We have music, but we’re still working.”
His comments came as a blow to Adele fans after the chart-topper was filmed telling pals to ‘expect my album in September’ while at a friend’s wedding.
Adele’s latest album was released in 2015 and called 25.
Adele recently hit headlines after showing off the results of her epic weight loss transformation.
The Someone Like You songstress is said to have shed seven stone.
Taking to his social media account, Adele’s former persona trainer Pete Geracimo revealed how the kooky star had worked hard to achieve her goals.
Geracimo wrote: “As Adele’s former London-based personal trainer, it’s disheartening to read negative commentary and fat-phobic accusations questioning the genuineness of her amazing weight loss.
“In my personal experience of working with her through many highs and lows, she always marched to the beat of her own drum on her own terms.
“She never undermined her God-given talent by reducing herself to expose her flesh or be the over the top sexy vixen to sell albums.
“She let her voice do the talking, or should I say singing!
“She never once pretended to be something that she wasn’t. What you saw, was what you got. And we all LOVED it!”
